The two houses sit on a cliff overlooking Punta Quepos, the Pacific Ocean and Manuel Antonio National Park. They were designed by an award-winning architect to provide stunning views from every window and terrace.

Casa Mirador has two bedrooms and space for a maximum of four people. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private terrace overlooking the sea, jungle and coves below. The second bedroom has two twin beds with two large windows, one with a jungle view and one with a bay window seat and partial view of the ocean. Even the shower has an ocean view.

Casa Voladora is located slightly above Casa Mirador. Tropical trees and plants surround the back of the house. These trees give one the feeling of being suspended in a tree house. They do not, however, block the stunning panoramic views of the National Park and the Pacific. The house has only one private bedroom. It is an intimate and romantic space with several private terraces, including one off the bedroom itself.

The same architect built both houses in a European style. They are simple and elegant in their construction and furnishings. However, neither house would be suitable for those who require lavish amenities. There is no cable TV, no CD players, and no air-conditioning systems, although it's not really necessary due to excellent ventilation (the houses are located at the top of a large hill) and ceiling fans. Each house provides a place to relax and enjoy nature.

In both houses, one awakens to the exotic songs of rainforest birds and the sounds of the rolling waves of the sea below. One can often see toucans , monkeys and a two-toed sloths from the various terraces in both houses. You can have your morning coffee on the terrace as you take in your spectacular view of the Quepos fishermen heading out to sea and or check out the local birds. It's a short ten to fifteen minute walk downhill to Espadilla Beach below the houses and an additional twenty minute walk along the beach to the entrance of the National Park.

Caretakers

Bismark and Gloria are our caretakers and their house is on the same plot of land as Mirador and Voladora. Close enough if you need anything, far enough away to ensure your privacy. Their daughter, Ivania, is proficient in booking tours and can arrange all the details for you if you wish. Gloria also has a side business (separate from the houses) doing a bit of personal laundry for the guests on site for a per kilo fee if you find yourself needing clean clothes. You will just need to ask. They are very helpful and extremely nice.
